At Play with Pokémon-Amie!
Show your Pokémon some love with the new Pokémon-Amie feature! Play with your Pokémon, give them treats, and even scratch and pet them using the Nintendo 3DS or Nintendo 3DS XL system's Touch Screen.
You can use Pokémon-Amie at any time to play with the Pokémon that are in your team. You'll need to play with them over and over to learn their preferred way of being cared for. Treat them well to make them feel loved. Treat them badly, and they may show their displeasure!
The more you play with your Pokémon, the friendlier they will become. Friendly Pokémon may perform better in battle, and maybe other good things will happen, too!

Last of the Supposed ‘X’ and ‘Y’ Insider Information
This is the last Pokemon X and Y
“insider” information we have to post. Note that like all of the other
information we have posted, please take it with a grain of salt (what
does that expression even mean?). We have no way of knowing how much of
it is real until Pokemon confirms or denies each individual item. So
again, please take all of the information here as unconfirmed and rumor until we hear something official.
Later today Pokemon Smash will air. While most expect it will just be a rehash of what CoroCoro had, you never know if they might reveal something more since Junichi Masuda will be on the show. We’ll see soon, so be sure to check back!

Later today Pokemon Smash will air. While most expect it will just be a rehash of what CoroCoro had, you never know if they might reveal something more since Junichi Masuda will be on the show. We’ll see soon, so be sure to check back!
Again, some or all of this information could be fake and should be taken as rumor until Pokemon validates it or not. To discuss these unconfirmed rumors, feel free to check out this thread on our forums!
- Pancham evolves into Pangoro in the early level 30s. In order to evolve Pancham into Pangoro, you need to have one other Dark-type Pokemon in your party. Pangoro’s type is Fighting/Dark.
- A Pokemon named Inkay evolves into Malimar. To evolve it, you have to hold your 3DS upside-down when it levels up (the 3DS has an accelerometer and gyroscope, so it can detect that). Malimar’s type is Dark/Psychic.
- A Psychic-type Pokemon named Espurr (ESP + purr) evolves into Meowstick (Meow + mystic?). (Sounds like Psychic-type cats. Meowstick’s name sounds too similar to Meowth to me though.)
- Like in B/W you have two rivals – one is friendly and the other is competitive. Your rival that is more friendly gives you his/her fully evolved starter Pokemon after you beat the game.
- Another professor named Sycamore gives you either Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle.
- Even though it shows the player riding on a Gogoat in the new trailer, players can’t ride on their own Pokemon. What was shown is just an alternate way of getting around Lumiose City and it only works with Gogoat.
- HMs still exist but there’s a lot less of them.
- Players will be able to see their Pokemon’s EVs (probably through the same in-game facility mentioned in the other post).
- A new move, Belch, is a Poison-type attack that has a base power of 120. The user must consume a held Berry to perform it.
- Draining Kiss is a Fairy-type attack that heals the user for the same amount of damage performed. It has a base power of 60.
- If the previously revealed forme of Mewtwo can be said to look roughly similar to Mewtwo’s original design, the second supposed form of Mewtwo can be said to look roughly/vaguely similar to Mew‘s design.
- In case you missed our correction the other day, the Starters’ final evolutions are Fire/Psychic, Grass/Dark, and Water/Fighting.

This Week’s Upcoming ‘Pokemon X’ and ‘Y’ News Releases
This week is going to be big for Pokemon X and Y news. Here’s the order of events:
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>click here for more<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
It should be noted that any movie-related news will undoubtedly be revealed in these next few days. June is always reserved for the last of the movie surprises, such as Keldeo’s Resolute Form and Shaymin’s Sky Forme. If Mewtwo has yet another new forme, as our source told us, it will definitely be revealed in these next few days. Since Sylveon’s type has also been shrouded in mystery and Sylveon is debuting in the Mewtwo/Genesect mini-movie, its type will probably be revealed too (and it’s supposedly the Fairy type according to our leaker).
- Tomorrow (June 11th) at 6 PM PST in Los Angeles: Junichi Masuda will be hosting an X/Y roundtable with select press at E3.
- At the same time, Pokemon.com’s Twitter account will be live-tweeting the event.
- On June 12th (which is partially June 11th in Los Angeles), the official Japanese Pokemon website will be releasing a ton of X/Y news. This could be right after the E3 conference or it could be several hours later.
- CoroCoro will probably leak between the 11th and 12th in U.S. time (covering the same type of info).
- Pokemon Smash will air on Saturday (covering the same type of info).

BREAKING: Target leaks release date - 12th October 2013
Pokemon X and Pokemon Y are two two brand-new entries in the main Pokemon series coming to 3DS worldwide in October.
Pokemon X and Y are the first ever 3D entries in the main Pokemon series, built around the features of the 3DS hardware.
The three new starter Pokemon are grass-type chipmunk Chespin, fire-type fox Fennekin and water-type frog Froakie. This is massively exciting for anyone into Pokemon - we've been waiting fifteen years for a real 3D Pokemon adventure.
The October 2013 release dispenses with the long localization times that have traditionally gone hand-in-hand with the Pokemon series. CEO of The Pokémon Company Tsunekazu Ishihara had this statement to make: "The worldwide launch of Pokémon X and Pokémon Y this October allows players to begin their adventures at the same time. Now, Pokémon fans across the globe can discover the secrets of Pokémon games and can collect, battle, and trade with each other immediately."[1]
